2025 - 2026 End of Year Update!

We have four major announcements for next week that apply to all scholars. The announcements are in order by day of the week. Please read carefully.


  1. Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony Starts Promptly at 10 am on Monday, May 18, 2026.  

    1. Location: Light of Joy Church, 7458 Ga Hwy 85, Riverdale, Ga 30274 

    2. Scholars need to arrive by 9:15 am

    3. Scholars are to report directly to the Church. There will be no before-care or school for Kindergartners on Monday, May 18, 2026.

    4. Dress Code: Black & White

    5. Scholars are to leave with their parents after the Ceremony!

  2. Last day of school for all grades is Tuesday. May 19th, 2026

    1. No aftercare for all campuses on Monday, May 18th, or Tuesday, May 19th

    2. There will be before-care on Monday, May 18th, and Tuesday, May 19th

      1. Please plan on picking your scholar up immediately after school is over on these two days (elementary, no later than 3:30 pm, &  Middle School, no later than 4 pm)

  3. Fifth Grade Promotion Ceremony Starts Promptly at 10 am on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026

    1. Location: Light of Joy Church, 7458 Ga Hwy 85, Riverdale, Ga 30274 

    2. Scholars need to arrive by 9:30 am 

    3. Dress Code: Black & White

    4. Scholars are to leave with their parents after the Ceremony!

  4. Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony Starts Promptly at 1pm on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026

    1. Location: Light of Joy Church, 7458 Ga Hwy 85, Riverdale, Ga 30274 

    2. Scholars need to arrive by 12:30 pm 

    3. Dress Code: Black & White/Cap & Gown

    4. Scholars are to leave with their parents after the Ceremony!
