Policy

2024 -2025 School Year Uniform

DIA has a mandatory structured uniform policy. Uniforms are imperative to our school culture as they promote pride, respect, and unity, and invoke success. ALL Scholars must come to school dressed in the scheduled appropriate uniform. Our school uniform vendor's information is below.

Elementary K-5th Grade
  • Gray Polo with DIA Logo + Navy or Khaki bottoms

  • Wednesday Dress Up Day: White Collared Shirt with Plaid Skirt (girls) or Navy Pants (boys) and Tie

  • Any school-appropriate closed-toe shoe can be worn (no slides, flip-flops, sandals, Crocs,
    slippers, or shoes with an open back.)

  • Bookbag Policy

    • Elementary students may carry any style of bookbag.

Middle School 6th-8th Grade
​

​Wednesday Dress Up Day: White Collared Shirt with Plaid Skirt (girls) or Navy Pants (boys) and Tie

​

Shirt 

  • Solid maroon polo shirt with DIA school logo

Pants and Skirts

  • Solid white, black, or navy tights may be worn with skirt

  • Uniform skirt: Wednesdays (plaid)

  • Solid khaki or navy shorts worn no more than three inches above the knee

  • Pants, shorts, and skirts with belt loops must be worn with a brown or black colored belt

(Cargo pants and cargo shorts are not allowed)

Shoes and Socks​​

Wednesday: preferably black or brown dress shoe

  • Any school-appropriate closed-toe shoe can be worn (no slides, flip-flops, sandals, Crocs,
    slippers, or shoes with an open back.
    )

  • Socks must be solid black or white and worn under pants.​​

    • Solid white, black, or navy tights may be worn with a uniform skirt​

Hair

  • All hair should be neatly groomed for cultural norms.

Hoodies/Jackets/Cardigans

  • Official Dubois Integrity Academy cardigans or hoodies (black or maroon).

    • All other outerwear, including but not limited to jackets, vests, sweatshirts, hoodies and,

non-Dubois Integrity Academy items will be stored during the school day, and given back at
dismissal.

Other

  • Y.O.U. passes may be purchased via PBIS rewards. Students may wear jeans, cargo pants, or other appropriate pants without holes or rips above the knee. Students may not wear flip-flops, slides, or Crocs.

  • When approved by the administration, select team and spirit clothing may be allowed
    on particular school days.

  • No large purses/tote bags to exceed (10 X 7 X 4)

  •  All accessories should be consistent with the formal and professional spirit of the uniform policy.

  •  Head coverings are only allowed for religious reasons inside the school building. (Bandanas, scarves, bonnets,

hats, etc. are not permitted)

  • Underwear, lingerie, bare cleavage, shoulders, midriffs, backs, or hips should always be covered.


*Student Requested and Honored Uniform Change
Uniforms must be neat and clean and students should also practice good hygiene. The policy above applies
to students entering the school building and throughout the school day. Students will be required to
dress in appropriate attire before attending class. Please contact the Dean of Students if there is a need for
uniform support as the Dean may be able to assist you.

DIA has partnered with School Zone as our uniform vendor. School Zone is the only authorized vendor to sell our mandatory logoed uniform. For your convenience, School Zone has compiled a uniform package for savings.
